UKIP today announces that it will be contesting the
Buckingham parliamentary constituency at the next election against the
new Speaker in the House of Commons, the Conservative MP John Bercow.
"John Bercow is not the man to bring the much needed
transparency and honesty to Parliament," said UKIP Leader Nigel Farage.
"His own behaviour over expenses claims, second-house
flipping and the rest have made him untenable as a long-term choice.
"We in UKIP will therefore be standing against him at the next election.
"Our prospective candidate is Dave Fowler, 57, who has
lived in the area all his life and runs his own plumbing business there.
"Buckingham needs a voice, not a Speaker, so we will take Bercow on and
when we defeat him, Parliament will have an opportunity to think again."
Conservative Bucks County Councillor
Gets it Wrong John Cartwright
who is Bucks C Councillor for Grendon Underwood is at
6's & 7's with the AVDC Council spending, under his stewardship
as leader he has spent the Aylesbury Vale taxpayers money like
water. His Conservative AVDC Council has slipped up again on
costs relating to the new Aylesbury Theatre, costs started at
£24 million and has now risen to £42,250million. Can we trust
him in the next elections on June 4th 2009? Vote him out!
It time for change
in Grendon Underwood, please vote for Dave Fowler the UKIP
candidate who has his eye on how to get it right.
UKIP supports the new Aylesbury Theatre but not the overspend or
"Out Of Control" actions of a disastrous run Tory Council.

Tesco Petrol
Prices UKIP attacks Tesco for it's expensive
petrol & diesel prices in Aylesbury. UKIP has written to
Tesco head office about the prices in the town but Tesco say
they are competitive within the area. We talked to a Tesco
tanker driver and he told us that it was because Tesco regarded
Aylesbury as a more upmarket area and that they could charge
more because we were richer! Aylesbury needs an ASDA!
Stoke Road
Bridge Aylesbury The Stoke Road bridge in Aylesbury has
finally had a new fence installed after many letters from UKIP
Aylesbury Vale. Success!

Save Our Sport: British Sea Anglers UKIP will be lobbying MEPs ahead of their debate on the
matter in April and the party urges YOU to write to your MEP
warning that if he or she does not support CFP exemption for
recreational anglers, they won't get your vote in the Euro
elections on 4 June. Brussels wants sea anglers to be subject to the
disastrous Common Fisheries Policy, imposing quotas on
recreational fishermen limiting the number of fish they are
allowed to catch. This is the same policy that has crippled
British commercial fishing, reducing the number of fishermen
18,600 to 12,700 in a decade.
"This means the EU intends to turn anglers into criminals," says
UKIP leader Nigel Farage MEP.
EU bureaucrats claim the move to restrict recreational fishing
would protect endangered species such as cod, ling, pollack and
shark. There are strict quotas on commercial fishermen for these
species, but no limits on anglers.
It is estimated that some 1.4 million Britons go sea angling
each year and Brussels thinks the threat they pose to fish
stocks is so great that they must be controlled. It is suggested
that many have large catches that they sell.
Joe Borg, European commissioner for maritime affairs and
fisheries, says: “Control and enforcement of catch limits should
be the cornerstone of the CFP. The future of sustainable
fisheries requires us to replace a system which is inefficient,
with one which can really produce results.”
His plan is to give each EU state a quota for each protected
species and national governments would then decided how this
would be shared between commercial fishermen and anglers.
Anglers would be banned from marketing their catches.

Ireland Says NO! The republic of Ireland has said NO to the
Lisbon Treaty. All 27 Country's need to ratify the treaty or it
cannot continue or can it? The EU are up to their old tricks
again, they do not listen to the vote of the Irish and are
trying to press ahead with it.
